FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know before joining your Naqaha retreat.

What's included in my retreat?

Each Naqaha retreat is different, but your stay will generally include accommodation, scheduled wellness sessions, selected destination experiences and meals outlined in the retreat programme.

Because inclusions vary between destinations, please check the What's Included section of your chosen retreat before booking for the exact details.

Do I need to be experienced in Pilates, yoga or fitness?

Not at all. Naqaha retreats are designed to welcome all levels, whether you practise regularly or are completely new to mindful movement. Our instructors will offer guidance and modifications throughout each session so you can move in a way that feels right for your body. If there is anything you would like your instructor to know, simply let us know before the retreat.

Can I join a Naqaha retreat on my own?

Absolutely. You are very welcome to come alone, and our retreats are designed to make solo travellers feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Shared meals, classes and experiences create natural opportunities to connect with other guests, while there is always space to enjoy time by yourself when you need it.

Can I book a shared room if I'm travelling alone?

Yes. Where shared rooms are available, solo guests can reserve a place without travelling with someone else. You may be paired with another guest of the same gender. If you prefer your own space, private room options may also be available depending on the retreat.

What does a typical day at Naqaha look like?

No two days are exactly the same. You might begin with meditation or breathwork followed by Pilates or yoga and a nourishing breakfast. The rest of the day could include a destination experience, a hike, time by the pool, a creative workshop or simply a few quiet hours to yourself.

We usually come together again later for gentle movement or a restorative session before dinner. Evenings are intentionally relaxed and may include a movie night, stargazing, a sound experience or simply conversation around the table.

Each retreat has its own rhythm inspired by its destination, so the exact programme will vary.

What kind of food will be served?

Food is an important part of the Naqaha experience. Expect generous, nourishing meals inspired by fresh, seasonal and locally available ingredients.

Menus will vary by destination, allowing you to experience some of the flavours of the region while still enjoying balanced, wholesome food throughout your stay. We will also ask about dietary requirements and allergies before your arrival and will do our best to accommodate them.

Is alcohol served during Naqaha retreats?

Naqaha retreats are designed around wellness, connection and mindful experiences, and alcohol is not included as part of our standard retreat programme.

Do I have to participate in every activity?

No. Everything is an invitation, not an obligation.

We encourage you to experience as much of the retreat as feels good for you, but this is your time. If one morning you would rather sleep longer, read beside the pool or simply enjoy some quiet time, you are welcome to do so.

Will I have free time during the retreat?

Yes. Rest is part of the experience, not something you need to squeeze into the schedule.

Our itineraries intentionally include free time for swimming, reading, exploring, booking a treatment, taking a nap or simply doing nothing at all. The balance between activities and downtime will vary slightly between destinations.

Are yoga and Pilates mats provided?

Essential equipment required for scheduled classes will normally be available at the retreat. If anything needs to be brought with you for a particular destination, we will let you know in your pre-arrival information.

You're also welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer practising with it.

Do I need to pay the full amount when I book?

Not necessarily. You can secure your place by paying the deposit shown during booking and pay the remaining balance according to the payment schedule for your retreat.

The exact deposit amount, final payment deadline and cancellation terms will be clearly displayed before you complete your reservation.

Are flights included?

No. Flights are not included, giving you the flexibility to travel from wherever you are and choose the itinerary that suits you best.

We will provide arrival information, the recommended airport and relevant transfer details for each retreat to help make planning your journey as simple as possible.

What happens after I book?

Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive confirmation of your place and everything you need to start preparing for your retreat.

Closer to departure, we'll share your pre-arrival guide with practical information including what to pack, arrival and transfer details, the retreat schedule and anything else you need to know before joining us.

What should I pack?

Pack for comfort, movement and the climate of your destination. We generally recommend comfortable activewear, swimwear where appropriate, walking shoes, relaxed clothing for evenings and anything that helps you feel at home while travelling.

A destination-specific packing guide will be sent to you before your retreat.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

In most cases, yes. We'll ask you to share any dietary requirements or food allergies with us before travelling so that we can coordinate with the retreat team in advance.

If you have a severe allergy or a particularly specific dietary requirement, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether it can be safely accommodated.

Are airport transfers included?

This varies by retreat. Some retreats may include scheduled transfers, while others may offer transfers separately or provide guidance for arranging your own.

You'll find the exact transfer arrangements under What's Included and Important Information on each retreat page.

How many guests will be on each retreat?

Naqaha retreats are intentionally intimate. Group size varies by destination and accommodation, but we keep our retreats small enough to create a personal experience and allow genuine connections to form between guests.

The expected group size will be shown on each individual retreat page.

Can I come with a friend?

Of course. You can travel with a friend, sister or someone close to you and choose your preferred room arrangement depending on availability.

If you're booking separately and would like to share a room together, let us know so we can link your reservations where possible.

Is travel insurance required?

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every guest. Your policy should provide appropriate cover for circumstances such as cancellation, medical treatment, travel disruption and your planned activities.

We recommend arranging insurance as soon as your retreat booking is confirmed.
