THE AWAKENING invites guests into one of Saudi Arabia's most breathtaking destinations for days of Pilates, meditation, breathwork, desert exploration and deep rest. Surrounded by sandstone mountains, palm groves and ancient heritage, this retreat is designed to help you slow down, reset your mind and return home feeling clear, grounded and renewed.

Each day at THE AWAKENING is designed around movement, stillness and experiencing AlUla with space to take it all in.
7am – 8am – Begin the morning with meditation and breathwork as the desert slowly wakes around us.
8am – 9am – Grounding Pilates or mindful movement to energise the body and set the tone for the day.
9.30am – A nourishing breakfast with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
11am – 2pm – Unstructured time to rest, read, journal, swim where available, or simply enjoy the surroundings.
3pm – 5pm – On selected days, we may experience AlUla's natural and cultural landscape through guided walks, local experiences or reflective workshops.
6pm – Gentle stretching, meditation or calming breathwork as the day begins to slow.
7.30pm – Dinner together, followed by stargazing, conversation, journaling or quiet time under the desert sky.
The final programme will be confirmed ahead of the retreat and may vary according to the selected setting, weather and experiences.
THE AWAKENING will take place within the extraordinary landscape of AlUla, with accommodation selected to complement the quiet, scale and natural beauty of the destination.
We’re seeking a setting that feels intimate, considered and deeply connected to its surroundings — somewhere with the privacy and space to slow down, move, reflect and experience AlUla at a different pace.

Rooms will be selected with comfort, calm and rest in mind, creating a peaceful place to return to throughout the retreat.

Not at all. Naqaha retreats are designed to welcome all levels, whether you practise regularly or are completely new to mindful movement. Our instructors will offer guidance and modifications throughout each session so you can move in a way that feels right for your body. If there is anything you would like your instructor to know, simply let us know before the retreat.
Absolutely. You are very welcome to come alone, and our retreats are designed to make solo travellers feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Shared meals, classes and experiences create natural opportunities to connect with other guests, while there is always space to enjoy time by yourself when you need it.
Yes. Where shared rooms are available, solo guests can reserve a place without travelling with someone else. You may be paired with another guest of the same gender. If you prefer your own space, private room options may also be available depending on the retreat.
No two days are exactly the same. You might begin with meditation or breathwork followed by Pilates or yoga and a nourishing breakfast. The rest of the day could include a destination experience, a hike, time by the pool, a creative workshop or simply a few quiet hours to yourself.
We usually come together again later for gentle movement or a restorative session before dinner. Evenings are intentionally relaxed and may include a movie night, stargazing, a sound experience or simply conversation around the table.
Each retreat has its own rhythm inspired by its destination, so the exact programme will vary.
Food is an important part of the Naqaha experience. Expect generous, nourishing meals inspired by fresh, seasonal and locally available ingredients.
Menus will vary by destination, allowing you to experience some of the flavours of the region while still enjoying balanced, wholesome food throughout your stay. We will also ask about dietary requirements and allergies before your arrival and will do our best to accommodate them.
Naqaha retreats are designed around wellness, connection and mindful experiences, and alcohol is not included as part of our standard retreat programme.
No. Everything is an invitation, not an obligation.
We encourage you to experience as much of the retreat as feels good for you, but this is your time. If one morning you would rather sleep longer, read beside the pool or simply enjoy some quiet time, you are welcome to do so.
Yes. Rest is part of the experience, not something you need to squeeze into the schedule.
Our itineraries intentionally include free time for swimming, reading, exploring, booking a treatment, taking a nap or simply doing nothing at all. The balance between activities and downtime will vary slightly between destinations.
Essential equipment required for scheduled classes will normally be available at the retreat. If anything needs to be brought with you for a particular destination, we will let you know in your pre-arrival information.
You're also welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer practising with it.
Not necessarily. You can secure your place by paying the deposit shown during booking and pay the remaining balance according to the payment schedule for your retreat.
The exact deposit amount, final payment deadline and cancellation terms will be clearly displayed before you complete your reservation.
No. Flights are not included, giving you the flexibility to travel from wherever you are and choose the itinerary that suits you best.
We will provide arrival information, the recommended airport and relevant transfer details for each retreat to help make planning your journey as simple as possible.
Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive confirmation of your place and everything you need to start preparing for your retreat.
Closer to departure, we'll share your pre-arrival guide with practical information including what to pack, arrival and transfer details, the retreat schedule and anything else you need to know before joining us.
Pack for comfort, movement and the climate of your destination. We generally recommend comfortable activewear, swimwear where appropriate, walking shoes, relaxed clothing for evenings and anything that helps you feel at home while travelling.
A destination-specific packing guide will be sent to you before your retreat.
In most cases, yes. We'll ask you to share any dietary requirements or food allergies with us before travelling so that we can coordinate with the retreat team in advance.
If you have a severe allergy or a particularly specific dietary requirement, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether it can be safely accommodated.
This varies by retreat. Some retreats may include scheduled transfers, while others may offer transfers separately or provide guidance for arranging your own.

Of course. You can travel with a friend, sister or someone close to you and choose your preferred room arrangement depending on availability.
If you're booking separately and would like to share a room together, let us know so we can link your reservations where possible.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every guest. Your policy should provide appropriate cover for circumstances such as cancellation, medical treatment, travel disruption and your planned activities.
